I haven't done much modelling recently but I thought I'd get out the Aradite and figure out how to build the ERF chassis sans instructions.

Completed pipeline dio

This is the completed pipeline dio, as displayed at the Heavy Equipment Model Show in October.

Pipeline Dio - bits and pieces

Some bits of scrap metal (Plastruct channel) and a skip (also Plastruct with lots of scrap pieces painted in all sorts of colours to try to replicate the sort of thing you might find in a skip) - this will all be part of the pipeline dio.

Franke MAN TGA progress

Cab is now decalled. They're from Dreamdoock.de of Germany and are of excellent quality. Tarps are made from painted kitchen foil which has been cut and folded-over several times.

It took a long time to mask-off the stripes but there were no paint runs - I'm really happy with how it came out. Lockers were primed in grey and came out much darker than the red on the cab so I'll probably re-paint that with white primer and red again so that they match.
